Go, girl, seek happy nights to happy days

Blogging like this really takes me back to Tumblr circa 2014 and honestly I’m loving it.

The biggest difference is that instead of hitting re-blog on every “aesthetic” post I come across, I actually have to create all my own content (or most of it) which definitely is the biggest undertaking of it all.

I’m up for the challenge though, and I’m excited to have a journal format with which I am historically more consistent. The endless half-used notebooks and attempts at journals are now a thing of the past! (Or, at least, I’ll keep telling myself that.) This will be like Tumblr all over again but with less angst and more pictures of dogs — specifically my dog. And, like with Tumblr, I’m hoping to post with a regular cadence even if I do not know what that looks like. Weekly would be amazing but I really don’t know if my life is exciting enough yet to deserve a weekly post— although it feels like the last month alone deserves 5000 words minimum, so maybe I’m selling myself short. (That post, btw is on it’s way!)

But I digress— it took me three months of post-employment paralysis to fire up this site again, and whoever ends up reading this, thank you for joining me on the ride.

Here's that picture of Moro you ordered. She's on her favorite forested walking trail, and walking towards the camera. Yellow leaves are scattered along the path and the sun is hitting the right side of her face.
